I am really excited to be working with my friend and fellow photographer, Emily Weiss, this weekend for the Girls on the Run WonderGirl 5K race in DC. I have not photographed an event like this before, but I know it is going to be an amazing experience!
Girls on the Run is a 12-week program that focuses on character building and teaching specific social and personal skills through running. The program culminates in a non-competitive 5K race event on December 7th in West Potomac Park. What an amazing opportunity for these girls to shine and celebrate their accomplishments!
Following the race, Emily and I will be getting images ready for a slideshow and for purchase. If you participated in the event, you can check out the race day photographs HERE. We are hoping to have them ready no later than December 19th.
